Arson Suspects Sought; Habitat ReStore

FARMVILLE — Police are looking for suspects who set fire to a utility trailer behind the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on January 31.

Video surveillance of the area revealed the fire was intentionally set at 11:50 p.m. on the last day of January, according to a Farmville Police Department press release, “and showed two subjects at the utility trailer when the fire started. These subjects fled the scene on foot in the direction of either the south end of the (Shoppes At College Park) shopping center or the neighborhood behind the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

The utility trailer was loaded with donated furniture and was destroyed by the fire, police reported in the press release issued last Thursday.
