High Bridge Trail State Park Commemorates Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a trail service project on January 19 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to beautify and improve our trail; a valuable asset of our local community. Volunteers will meet on High Bridge Trail behind the Farmville Train Station.
Volunteers are needed for a trail cleanup along our trail near Lancer Park and our Osborne Access. Trail maintenance is also needed on an established pedestrian access path to High Bridge Trail.
Volunteers need to be prepared with closed toe shoes, work gloves, long, sturdy trousers and drinking water. Tools will be provided. Free Farmville municipal parking is amiable near the Southern States/Farmers Coop building.
