Library To Hold Free Technology Classes
The Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library is offering free classes on computer basics and tablet basics throughout the winter. The computer basics series covers five topics (basics, Internet, email, Microsoft Word, and file management) and will be held twice a week on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. beginning January 5. The tablet basics will be held on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. beginning January 6. The topics to be covered include iPads (Jan. 6), Androids (Jan. 13), Kindles (Jan. 20), and downloading e-books (Jan. 27).
Are you a Microsoft Word user interested in learning more?
