The Crafts for Local Missions at Heritage Baptist Church has been busy since its first meeting in June 2014. The group meets twice a month, and has so far made 21 angel dolls, 18 dolls with 2 outfits each, 10 crayon purses, 10 wooden cars, over 30 friendship/bead bracelets, and six pillowcase dresses. These crafts were used for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, and several items were donated to Madeline's House. Members of the group include Faye Booth, Erna Daye, Carolyn Yeatts, Mary Mason, Ann Simpson, Bernice Hawkins, Betty Strock, Wynelle Fox, and Anita Harris.
