Annual Awards Nominations
The Buckingham Chamber of Commerce will not meet in the month of December because they’re preparing to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year…the Annual Awards Banquet! Every January, this special event celebrates two citizens of the county who have contributed their time to make Buckingham someplace special, and the Chamber relies on nominations to guide their efforts in bestowing these awards. Nominations are currently being accepted for Volunteer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award. To nominate someone, write a short nomination letter (approximately 1 page) and deliver it by hand or post to Moss Motors before Friday, January 16. The awards will be given at the banquet in January. If you have questions or need more information, contact Chamber President Faye Shumaker at fayeshumaker@kyanite.com.
