Samuel Vincent Brown Sr.

BUCKINGHAM, November 13 — Samuel Vincent Brown Sr., of Buckingham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Melva Stewart Brown for 53 years. Born in Newark, NJ on August 1, 1939, he was a son of the late Paul and Gertrude Onion Brown.
He was a US Air Force Veteran, retired from Reynolds Aluminum in New Jersey and retired from Buckingham County Correctional Center.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Samuel V. Brown Jr.; two daughters, Jill Brown and Yvette Brown; a sister, Gloria Rogers; five grandchildren, Ashley Woodard, Charmayne Woodard, Maritza Fowler, Alicia Brown, and Alexander Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Fowler and Deanna Fowler.
