NORTH CAROLINA, November 18 — Joyce Orange Hurak Bobbitt, 78, of Middleburg, NC, formerly of Farmville, joined her Lord and Savior Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was born on June 24, 1936 to the late Frank B. and Lula Crump Bowman.

Ms. Bobbitt was very active in Middleburg Baptist Church in Middleburg, NC, she was a great cook and loved working with her flowers. The only thing she loved more than that was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Franklin E. Hurak and wife, Linda of Clemmons, NC and Richard Hurak of Farmville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 2 p.m. in Concord Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Interment will follow service in church cemetery.
