Wiley Leroy Nash and Dianne Thomas Nash, of Forest, celebrated 50 years of marriage on November 1. The couple was married on Nov. 1, 1954, at Welcome Wesleyan Church in New Canton by the Rev. Earl T. Gentry and the Rev. Kenneth Foutz. Diane is the former Dianne C. Thomas, daughter of the late J. Alvin and Dorothy Thomas.

The couple have one daughter, Dari Nash Swift, of Mechanicville.

Wiley, son of the late Everette Nash and Opal Nash, of Lynchburg, retired from B & W and Dianne retired from Centra Health.

The couple was honored with a dinner hosted by their daughter and Dianne’s brother, Alvin Thomas Jr., at Rocky Mount UMC. Many friends and relatives were in attendance.
