The Second Annual Quackin’ Down the James Duck Derby sponsored by Scottsville Lions Club will be held Saturday, September 13, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The cost is a $5 donation per duck. First prize $250; second prize: $100. Ducks will be dropped in river at 2:30 p.m.

The finish line is at the public boat landing, downtown Scottsville. Purchase ducks from any Scottsville Lions members, or contact Buddy Brochu 434-831-2318 or Bob Keeton, 434-953-2295.
