The Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) recently donated $25,000 to the Buckingham Build Project of the Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity. The donated funds were collected during the VHDA’s annual charity golf tournament, and will go towards three homes set to be constructed at the intersection of Conner and Culbreth Streets in Dillwyn. The project’s groundbreaking is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 6 at the site. (Photo by Jordan Miles)
