Twin Lakes Notes Weekend Events

Twin Lakes State Park announces the following weekend events;
Saturday, July 12, at the Goodwin Lake Boat Ramp: 10 a.m., “Canoeing 101” – learn all about canoeing and then take a guided paddle around the lake, $5 per person or $4 a person groups of four or more; 4 p.m., “Archery” – try your hand with a bow and arrow at the archery range located just past the boat ramp entrances, $5 per person or $25 per group; 9 p.m., “Supermoon Guided Paddle” – learn why a Supermoon happens and enjoy the view from the lake, meet at the Goodwin Lake Boat Ramp, $5 per person or $4 a person for groups of four or more, children 10 and up please, pre-register by calling the park office;
Sunday, July 13, in the Interpretive Circle: 11 a.m., “Guided Canoe paddle” – take a guided paddle around Goodwin lake and discover local wildlife, $5 per person or $4 per person for groups of four or more, meet at the Goodwin Lake Boat Ramp; 2 p.m., “Skin and Bones” – hands on with local wildlife; 4 p.m., “Questionable Edibles” join interpreters to learn all about wild edible plants.
