Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rutledge, of Chantilly, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Jane, to Patrick Daniel Seal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seal, of Cumberland.

Patrick is the grandson of Paul and Shirley Seal and Thomas and Mildred Brown, both of Cumberland.

The couple met at their alma mater, James Madison University in Harrisonburg.

A December wedding is planned at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Chantilly.
