David Lloyd Beasley, 68

LYNCHBURG, July 1 — Departed this life to move into his promised mansion in Heaven, David Lloyd Beasley, 68, of Lynchburg, formerly of Farmville, passed away at “The Carrington” on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Born in North Carolina, December 3, 1945 to the late Resters Aaron Beasley and Ava May Stout Beasley, he was preceded in death by former wife, Nancy LeGrand Beasley and a widower of Mary Mottley Beasley. Also, three brothers, Resters Aaron Beasley Jr., Lawrence Noble Beasley, and Jesse Blain Beasley.

Mr. Beasley is survived by a daughter, Angela Carol Kidd (Bryan); a son, David Lloyd Beasley Jr. (Julie); three grandsons, Jacob Lloyd Kidd, Jesse Parker Kidd, and Aaron Lloyd Beasley; a granddaughter, Rachel Ladd; four great-grandchildren; a devoted sister, Mary Beasley Swan Warren (Holland) of Lynchburg, and a sister-in-law, Norma Beasley of Colonial Heights.

A memorial remembrance service was held Sunday, June 29, at Glenn Memorial Baptist Church, Prospect.
