FARMVILLE — First Fridays kicks off its 2014 season on Friday, featuring local band Phloyd Eugene Turbo, at 5:30 p.m. at Farmville’s Community Marketplace, the farmers market on North Street, due to flooding at Riverside Park.

The group classifies itself as “Southern Rock Revival.”

The featured food vendor will be the Farmville Fire Department.

First Fridays will continue on June 6, July 11 (the second Friday so there is no conflict with the Fourth of July), August 1 and September 5, all at 5:30 p.m.

Those First Fridays, barring more flooding, will be at Riverside Park.
