Buckingham Baptist Church, located off of U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn in Gold Hill, will host a Spring Social on Saturday, April 12 from 3-6 p.m. All are invited to bring a favorite dish of food and enjoy games, music and more. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for children age 11 years and under.

The Buckingham County High School Classes of 1988, 89 and 90 invites you to join them for a “Lets Fight Cancer Together” car and bike show on Saturday, April 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at Teresa’s Place, located on North Sames Madison Highway in Dillwyn. There will be a 50/50 raffle with music by Isaac Randolph. There will be first and second place prices in best in show in the following categories: cars pre- 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 1990’s to present. There will also be best in show, awards in motorcycles, in domestic stock, metric stock, domestic custom and metric custom. The pre-registration fee is $10 and $15 the day of the event.
