Mary Lou Barron, 83

TENNESSEE, April 10 — Mary Lou Barron, 83, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Wexford House in Kingsport.
Ms. Barron was a native of South Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in the Knoxville area, the daughter of the late George Dewey and Alme Bridges Burnett. She worked in food service for Klopman Mills for many years. Ms. Barron was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Barron and wife, Delma of Virginia, and John Courtney Barron and wife, Gina of Kingsport, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Jason (Juanita) Barron, Billy (Austin Lee) Barron, Savannah Rose, Ripley Barron, Courtney Michaela Barron, Lacey Barron, Nicholas Barron, and Katrina Barron; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Angeline Hayes; a brother, Daniel Burnett; Jeff Dean who was like a son and Calin Turner who was like a grandson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Barron, a son, Robert Barron, two sisters, Betty West and Marlon Burnett and two brothers, George and Arville Burnett.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, April 10 at Telford United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Archie Baker officiating.
