KEYSVILLE, February 27 — William Jacob Tilton, 92, of Keysville, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. He served his country honorably in WW II, having participated in the landings at Normandy, and the liberation of France.

He is survived by his wife, Edna M. Tilton; three daughters, Mary Veals, Stella Hinkle, and Elaine Rodriguez; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 1 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
