PRINCE EDWARD — The Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Saturday, January 18 at approximately 8:54 p.m. of an assault on Abilene Road.

According to the release, the investigation revealed two suspects broke into the house, assaulted the victim and stole an undisclosed amount of US currency. One 18 year-old male subject was apprehended in Cumberland County hours later. The investigation is ongoing for the other subject.
