Dr. Daniel and Linda Grounard, of Crewe, and Curtis and Daisy DeMuth, of Midlothian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Blair DeMuth, to Dustin Shane Eggleston, son of Gerald and Mara Eggleston, of Crewe.

The future bride graduated from Cumberland County High School and George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. She is employed by Farmville Wholesale Electric Supply Company in Farmville.

The future groom graduated from Nottoway County High School and Longwood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He is employed by the Virginia State Police in Nottoway.

The couple will be married in October of 2014.
