KEYSVILLE, October 29 — Daniel Lee Baldwin, 55, of Keysville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday afternoon, October 26, 2013 after a long battle with T Cell Lymphoma.
He was born in Lynchburg on June 19, 1958 and graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in 1976. He graduated from Southside Virginia Community College with a Business degree and later attended Austin Community College for Electronic Engineering. Mr. Baldwin was an engineering associate in the semiconductor industry for most of his career.
He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed God’s creation whenever he could. He enjoyed playing music and was a member of Prodigal Son. Mr. Baldwin was a member of Drakes Branch Baptist Church and came to know the Lord in 1991. “My receiving of the Gospel of Christ was the most profound point in my life. Nothing is more important.”
Mr. Baldwin is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kimberly H. Baldwin; his mother, Lorene Kay of Keysville; three daughters, Virginia Eacho and her husband, David of New Kent, Rachael Clark and her husband, Russ of Keysville, and Amy Baldwin of Pamplin; six grandchildren, Ransom, Hayley, Emma Grace, Amelia, Zoe, and Vivian; brother, Lynwood Baldwin of Buckingham; and sisters, Jeanne Carrington and Cheryl Kay both of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 30 at Olive Branch United Methodist Church by Pastor Adam Blosser. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, October 29 from 7-8:30 p.m.
