On Saturday, Aug. 24, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Historic Buckingham will host Master Gunsmith/Blacksmith George Suitor, of Colonial Williamsburg, at their first Blacksmith Day at the Historic Village at Lee Wayside.

The village is located two miles west of Sprouses Corner off Rt. 60. Other blacksmiths have been invited to come to the Abbitt Forge which was the only building actually built on the village property. Lunch will be available for sale.

There is no admission charge, but donations will be greatly appreciated to defer Suitor’s travel cost. For more information call, 434-969-4355.
