Tremayne Lamont Richard, son of Samuel H. Richard III (Tray) and Ancer Richard and grandson of Margaret Richard, of Cumberland, married Carmen Rachelle Fortune, daughter of Timothy Fortune and Debra Fortune, also Daddy Tony Murillo, of Yorktown, on June 8.

The ceremony was held at Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Dillwyn with Pastor Timothy Woodson officiating at the ceremony.

The bride graduated from Longwood University and holds a Master's Degree in Special Education.

Mr. Richard graduated from Longwood University and holds a Bachelors' in Science in Biomedical Health.

The couple will reside in Nashville, TN, where Mr. Richard is attending Meharry Medical College to further his education and become a Doctor of Dentistry.
