Farmville's Eggleston Karate Studio students, Joanna Marcinkiewicz and Allison Hinde were awarded the rare “Triple Crown” Trophy at the recent AAU Regional Karate Tournament held in Richmond. In order to qualify for the “Triple Crown”, both had to win a Gold medal in the same category at the AAU Fall Invitational, the AAU State and the AAU Regional tournaments. Both will move on to compete in the AAU Nationals held in Cincinnati, OH the last week of June.
