Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Linari, of Richmond, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Michele Blankenship Sutton, to Mr. Jacob Allen Jernigan, son of Mrs. Marilyn Jernigan and the late Mr. Ronald Jernigan of Chesapeake. Miss Sutton is also the daughter of the late Michael Sutton, of Buckingham.

Michele is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dolores Faxon, of Richmond, and the late Mr. William Faxon; Mr. and Mrs. Ira Junior Midkiff, of Cumberland; and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Linari, of Richmond.

Jacob is the grandson of Mr. John Jernigan, of Norfolk, and the late Mrs. Doris Jernigan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Pugh, of Springfield.

Michele graduated from Hermitage High School and Virginia Tech where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She is employed as a sales specialist with Optima Health in Roanoke.

Jacob graduated from Hickory High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed as a sales representative with Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. in Roanoke.

A November 2 wedding is planned.
