Editor, The Herald:
I attended the Republican convention in Richmond and was astounded by the enthusiasm of the nominees. Ken Cuccinelli was breathtaking, sincere and on track to work for the Virginia residents. He is concerned about unemployment, the environment, taxes and education. I want to say that the Republican nominees are dedicated to lowering taxes and cutting spending in the state of Virginia. We want the state to be a model for all to see and emulate.
The Attorney General candidate, Mark Obenshain, won for the best reasons. He knew his state and federal history and he would choose his committees by selecting from think tanks. The best chosen not by affiliation, but by knowledge. The Republican nominee for Governor, Ken Cuccinelli was unanimously chosen for this ideals and devotion to his family and the family unit of the state of Virginia.
Last but not least, the Lieutenant Governor candidate, E.W. Jackson, was chosen for his outstanding ideas and his loud acknowledgement for the individual citizen. We truly have an outstanding ticket in these three men who show grave concern and self-motivation to continue their fight for the liberty and freedom of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
