Rachel Marie Baney, daughter of Brenda Baney, of McKean, PA, and the late Danny Baney, is engaged to Sean David Calihan, son of David Calihan and Becky and Pat Fisher, of Farmville. On March 30, 2013, Sean proposed to Rachel at Monroe Park in Richmond after seeing a show at the Landmark Theater.

Rachel is a 2009 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She currently is a middle school special education teacher in Hanover County.

Sean attended James Madison University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Sean is currently working at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg as a food service director.

The couple plans to wed in November 2013, at Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables in Waynesboro.
