Local Students Graduate From Hampden-Sydney

Students with ties to the local community were among the 191 men who graduated on Sunday, May 12, at commencement exercises marking the end of the 238th academic year at Hampden-Sydney College.
Matthew William Allen graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in history. A graduate of Buckingham County High School, he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. F. Acie Allen, Jr. of Dillwyn.
Palmer Sinclair Bowen graduated with a B.A. in government. A graduate of Amelia Academy, he is the son of Jennifer Faeth of Amelia and Arthur Bowen of Bumpass.

Regis Lloyd Craft graduated with a B.A. in history. A graduate of Nottoway High School, he is the son of Reginald & Edith Craft of Burkeville.
Christopher Topp Deen graduated with a B.A. in philosophy and foreign affairs. A graduate of Jefferson Forest High School, he is the son of Shirley Deen of Forest and Michael Deen of Amelia Island, FL.
Gregory Scott Henshaw graduated with a B.A. in history. A graduate of Prince Edward County High School, he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. B. Keith Henshaw, Sr. of Farmville.
Gregory Joel Knabel graduated with a B.S. in biology. A graduate of E. C. Glass High School, he is the son of J.R. & Beth Knabel of Lynchburg.
Russell Garrett Leboff graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in mathematical economics. A graduate of Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, he is the son of Russell & Christine Leboff of Amelia Court House.
Benjamin Tyler Marston graduated with a B.A. in history. A graduate of Fuqua School, he is the son of Greg & Lisa Marston of Crewe and the grandson of Carolyn Marston & the late Ryland Marston of Crewe and the late George & Betty Dickerson of Farmville.
Dion DeCarlos Robinson graduated with a B.A. in economics. A graduate of Cumberland High School, he is the son of Mr. Carl E. Robinson of Farmville.
William Read Smith graduated with a B.A. in economics and commerce. A graduate of Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL,, he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Michael A. Smith of Hampden-Sydney.
