CREWE, May 30 – Karen Elizabeth Morgan, 37, of Crewe, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born in Wichita, KS on November 14, 1975 to Virginia Rohr Morgan and Robert L. Morgan.
She grew up in West Berlin, Germany and moved back to the states to Dayton, Ohio and graduated from high school in 1994. She joined the US Air Force and later retired from the National Guard. She was a member of the American Legion Post 50 in Crewe and was a member of the American Legion Riders. Ms. Morgan loved to sew quilts, was an avid Ebayer, worked on her vehicles, and liked shooting sports. She was known to be a “Zombie freak” and loved to watch her favorite shows with her daughter. And she regularly kicked her son's butt playing classic video games.
She was devoted to her children and family. She had a zest for life and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She was our sunshine.
Ms. Morgan is survived by her mother, Virginia Morgan; father, Robert Morgan; children, Christopher Patrick French and Elizabeth May Hessler; brother, Jason Leith Morgan and wife, Behni of Idaho; fiancee Lane Timberlake, and her extended family.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date.
