High Bridge Trail State Park commemorates Memorial Day with a Fallen General Walk on Monday, May 27 at 2 pm. The walk, led by Education Specialist Bob Flippen, will highlight the life and demise of General Thomas Alfred Smyth, the last Union General officer to die in the American Civil War. The walk will start at the Osborne Road access parking lot and progress to the area where Smyth was mortally wounded. Parking fees do not apply at this access.
