To Wed In June

On a picturesque autumn afternoon, on bended knee, Alex Amos proposed to Jenna Holt at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, and she said, “yes.”
Jenna is a 2004 graduate of Randolph Henry High School and a 2008 cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a concentration on Dietetics and a minor in Psychology. She then completed her dietetic internship and Master's of Science in Dietetics at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. She is currently employed by Inova Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg as a Registered Dietition. Jenna is the daughter of Lloyd and Wanda Holt of Phenix and the granddaughter of F. Parker and Mamie Dodd, of Monroe. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles Holt and Thelma Holt Austin. She is the step-granddaughter of Russell Austin.
Alex is a 2004 graduate of Prince Edward County High School and a 2008 graduate of Virginia Tech. He received a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a minor in Real Estate Development. He is currently a project manager for Grunley Construction based out of Rockville, MD. Alex is the son of W. D. and Ginger Amos, of Farmville. He is the grandson of Dr. Edward I. Gordon and the late Loretta G. Gordon, of Farmville. He is the grandson of William D. Amos Sr. and the late Bertha Amos, of Farmville.
The happy couple is planning a June wedding in Phenix with reception to follow at Miacres farm in Farmville.
