Prince Edward Elementary School Accelerated Reader (AR) Program Coordinator (left) Mindy Morris and Librarian Kathy Biggers were willing pie targets Friday. Children were tasked to meet a 6,000 book reading goal for the month of March, which they exceeded-reaching over 9,000 books. A handful of students, including this pre-schooler, were selected in each lunch period for the opportunity to plaster one of the two with a whipped-cream pie. Some scored some sweet success.
