Longwood University freshman, and local product, Kyri Washington beats the throw on an attempted steal of third base during the Lancers' victory over Temple University on Tuesday afternoon. Washington was awarded first base after being hit by a pitch, stole second, third, and came around to score on a base hit. Against Norfolk State on Wednesday, Washington had three hits and four RBI to pace the Lancers to the non-conference victory.
