Editor, The Herald:

On last Thursday morning my car battery died in the Food Lion parking lot! I had left my lights on due to the snow. I went into Sears for help, and Lewis immediately offered to go get his truck and cables. When I returned to my car, however, two strangers had arrived there in their truck. Charles and Bryan got out and said, “Lady, we knew you needed a jump and so we're here to help,” and they did, in about two minutes flat!

How lucky am I that I live in a town where people care about one another and respond to their needs, even when they don't even know one another's names.

Thank you, Lewis, Charles and Bryan, for making Farmville such a great place to live!
