FEBRUARY 12 – William Merrill Doss, of Farmville, departed this Earth on Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born on November 27, 1945 to the late Calvin P. and Louise B. Doss. He was one of five children, Barry (deceased), Donna (deceased), Chuck (Marie) of Victoria and Albert (Linda) of Powhatan.

He is survived by his wife, Gail and four children, Barry Speas (Betty) of Goochland, Billy Doss of Richmond, Timothy (Brittany) and Amanda Doss of Farmville; two grandchildren, Alana Johnson and Briella Doss and many who considered themselves as close as children.

Family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight), February 12, at the funeral home from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Browns Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, February 13 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
