The Town of Farmville is accepting bids from qualified individuals/companies to provide grass cutting services. This work will be on an “on-call” basis to cut properties within the Town limits that have become in unkept condition.

Bids should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “Bid for Grass Cutting Services” so as to arrive no later than 12:00 noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, February 25, 2013, at the Town Hall, 116 North Main Street, P. O. Drawer 368, Farmville, VA 23901, Attn: Kim Thompson, Property Inspector.

Bids should be by the hour of work and include all charges to cut grass, weed eat, and sweep/clean the property of grass clippings. Bids must also include a current certificate of insurance as proof of liability insurance by a company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful bidder will be asked to sign a contract good through December 31, 2013.
