Cumberland Extension Office will be offering a FREE hands-on fruit tree pruning workshop on Saturday, March 2, from 9:30 am – noon at a local farm on Trents Mill Road in Cumberland County about one mile from the courthouse area. Participants will be looking at young and older trees such as apple, cherry and peach. Participants may also want to bring a pair of long handle cutters. Come prepared to gain confidence on how to prune your own fruit tree or help your neighbor with theirs.
