Daniel Fleming Seay, 49

DILLWYN, February 12 – Daniel Fleming Seay, 49, of Dillwyn, passed from this life on Friday, February 8, 2013. He was born in Lynchburg on July 18, 1963, to his mother, Karolyn L. Geigert, and father, David F. Seay.
Mr. Seay graduated from Buckingham County High School in 1982 and became a boilermaker for local #45 in Richmond. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 315 of Dillwyn and the Shriners. He enjoyed fellowship with these organizations, as well as the freedom of the open air, taking in the beauty of God's earth, traveling Southside Virginia on his motorcycle.
He is survived by his mother and his father; sister, Dalyn Ruth Seay of Dillwyn; and daughter, Katherine Danielle Seay of Nottoway; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held in the Dillwyn First Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 12 by Pastor John Moxley. Interment followed in the Cedar Baptist Cemetery, with Masonic Rites.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either the Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department or the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
