JANUARY 29 – Susan Polonski, 62, of Farmville, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Farmville. She was born January 8, 1951 in Lackawanna, NY to Primo and Effie Paolini.

She graduated from Potsdamn College, then attended two years of college in Tours, France where she majored in French. She went on to receive her Master's Degree from Longwood University as a reading specialist. Mrs. Polonski taught remedial reading in the Farmville schools for 20 years.

Ms. Polonski was a resident of The Woodland for five years and was very active in St. Theresa's Parish in Farmville. She was also an active member of the Central VA Cursillo community. She was a source of inspiration for so many.

She is survived by her parents, brothers, David Paolini of Arizona and Robert Paolini of Wilmington, NY; and a sister, Nancy of Mt. Holly, NJ. She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Polonski.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 31, at 7 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
