DECEMBER 27 – Joshua Logan Helmuth, beloved son, brother, grandson and friend of many, departed this life on Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on October 26, 1988, to Kristina Vose (Helmuth), who married Todd Sickmiller in 1999, who was Josh's only true father figure. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 2007. He was employed by Amelia Lumber Yard in Amelia.

Joshua was a vivacious soul who loved his family and friends, and his girlfriend Ashleigh Cordrey, and had an immense sense of loyalty to all of them. He had an infectious smile, and quick wit. Joshua had many talents, one of which was creating music and lyrics. In addition to that, he was very intelligent, and at one point, in school, he received The Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Kristina Sickmiller; brother, Jason Sickmiller; sister, Mindy Sickmiller; grandparents, Helen Christian of Florida, James Vose of Florida, and Carrol Lee and MarySue Sickmiller of Ohio; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 26 at the Shiloh New Covenant Church in Cumberland.
