Jasmine Benson Touched Many Lives

Editor, The Herald:

In memory of Jasmine Benson, who departed this life on November 22. I am reminded that Jasmine demonstrated the training she received from her mother, Cherrelle, who was the clerk at St. Joy Baptist Church, and they would often be the first two at church. Because of Cherrelle's work schedule Jasmine would often do the announcements in her mother's place, as well as sing in the Vision of Jesus Choir. And Jasmine's name was always on the school honor roll. Jasmine touched many young hearts and adults, too, in her young life. My wife, better known as Mrs. Ruth, taught Jasmine in Head Start. At three years old, Jasmine was well-mannered.

Your family, your church, your school, your job and your friends will remember you, Jasmine, as you continue to sing in the heavenly choir above.
