The Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners and the Central Piedmont Virginia Master Naturalists recently sponsored a pumpkin carving workshop in Farmville. Master Naturalist Francis Wood began the program with pumpkin stories. Participants carved some scary, cute, and original creations. The program ended with refreshments, all made with pumpkins – including chili and ice cream.
