The Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners and the Central Piedmont Virginia Master Naturalists are pleased to bring to the community a hands-on pumpkin carving workshop Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9:30 am until noon at the Prince Edward County Extension Office, at 100 Dominion Road, in Farmville (across from Lowe's and under the water tower) in the Natural Re-sources and Agricultural Building.

There is a $5 fee for the workshop, which covers a pumpkin, snacks, and supplies. Pre-registration is required, as the class size will be limited. Children should be five years old to participate, and children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent.
