Join the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners for a Brown Bag Lunch Program on Thursday, Nov. 1 from noon until 1 pm at the Prince Edward County Extension Office.

Bring lunch and settle back and enjoy as the Master Gardeners screen the video, Ruth Stout's Garden. Ruth Stout's gardening philosophy centered around a no dig/no work method and relied heavily on the wonders of hay mulch to make her garden grow with very little effort. This is a brief and very informative and entertaining video, and Master Gardeners will be available for Q & A after the video screening.
