FARMVILLE – All Charlie Brown got for Halloween was a rock but Farmville area children can roll into a costume parade next Wednesday, October 31.

The Town of Farmville's Department of Recreation is hosting the event along with Downtown merchants, and the fun begins a 4 p.m. on Main Street, starting on the lawn of the Prince Edward County Courthouse.

The parade will kick-off a Halloween celebration that will see trick or treating scheduled, by Town ordinance, to conclude by 9 p.m. that same evening.
