AMELIA, October 9 – Betty Lynn Cifers, 59, of Amelia, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

The wife of the late Reuben E. Cifers, she is survived by a son, Jesse Whitlow of Amelia; daughters, Julie Settle, Shelby Leslie and Michelle Martin all of Amelia and Angie Major of Powhatan; sisters, Patricia Carlton and Carolyn Whitlow of Richmond and Jeanie Whitlow of Goochland; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday (tonight), October 9, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

A church service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
