High Bridge Trail State Park announces a day to Honor Our National Day of Service. There are many events within a nation's history that define its growth, its people and its future, but only a few reveal the nation's heart. September 11, 2001, is a day no American will ever forget. We will never forget the loss or the pain nor will be forget the bravery of the heroes who saved countless lives that day. On that day we provided that we are one nation, the United States of America.

Exactly eleven years later we honor the memories of those who risked their lives to save lives and those whose lives were lost. Help High Bridge State Park in making our small piece of this great nation better.

On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 9 – 11 a.m. the community is invited to put on gloves and work shoes and provide a day of service by working on a park cleanup. Meet at the Prospect parking area. Don't forget to bring drinking water.
