MECHANICSVILLE, Aug. 14 – Jeanette Agee Green, 83, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012. She was a retired employee of C & O Railroad.

She is survived by her husband, C. William (Bill) Green; two sons, Brian Green (Debbie) and Randy Green (Debbie); five grandchildren, Tracy, Brandon, Kasey-Nicole, Heather, and Will-Colby; brother, Oscar Agee; sister, Marguerite Farmer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel N. and Anna G. Agee; five brothers and two sisters, and a son, Gary Green.

Mrs. Green was a totally devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who blessed family and friends with her love, constant support, and sweet smile.

The funeral service was held Monday, August 13 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery.
