Central Virginia Arts offers a new art exhibit at the Prince Edward County Health Department, 111 South Street in Farmville. The paintings, drawings, collages and photographs are by CVA members Shirley Blackwell, Dorothy Bowman, Ursula Burgess, Edwilda Allen Isaac, Mary Jackson, Nancy Lockwood, Julie Shield, Donna Taylor, Rick Thomas, Pat Thorne and Maggie Whorley. Pictured are Benita Hatcher, administrative specialist in the Health Department and Richard McClintock, CVA Exhibits Committee and recently retired Director of Publications at Hampden-Sydney College. They are enjoying Shirley Blackwell's photograph, “Two Front Teeth: Camel in Morocco.” The display is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until February 4.
