Prince Edward 4-H is offering a Junior Master Gardener day camp for youth entering grades three-five. The program will be held July 25-27 at the Prince Edward Extension Office from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This program is based on the JMG curriculum Literature in the Garden, published by Texas A & M. This program uses quality children's literature to connect kids to gardening and the natural world. This fun, hands-on curriculum includes activities designed to strengthen skills in math, science, language, and social studies.

The JMG class will be led by Josie Fletcher and Chris Bianca, members of the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners. Cost of the program is $40 to cover snacks, and supplies. Campers should bring lunch and a water bottle each day.
