Cookies and milk will always be at the top of Santa's list as far as favorite food is concerned, but what runs a close second? Ice cream of course! Santa heard that the Jamerson Library in Appomattox was hosting an Ice Cream Social July 13 and stopped by for a bowl. Over 50 patrons came to enjoy ice cream topped with sprinkles, candy, graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream while keeping Santa company. The Ice Cream Social was the last event of the Summer Reading Program, which ended on Saturday, July 14, wrapping up a successful year.
